Apply for a Qualified Child Donation Credit
Georgia taxpayers must be pre-approved by the state to take advantage of the Qualified Foster Child Donation Credit. By completing the following application, your request will be submitted to the Georgia Department of Revenue in the order in which it is received by the Fostering Success Act team.
The following contribution limits are in effect for January 1 – June 30, 2023:
- Single Individual or Head of Household: Up to $2,500 per year
- Married Filing Jointly: Up to $5,000 per year
- Individual Owner of S-Corp, Member of a LLC, or Partner in a Partnership: Up to $5,000 per year
- C Corporation, Trust, or Pass-Through Entity electing to pay tax at entity level: Up to 10% of Georgia income tax liability per year
