Fostering Success Act, Inc. (FSA) Partners with
University System of Georgia Foundation (USGF)
On September 16, 2024, FSA announced a partnership with USGF to raise funds for youth who have aged out of the state’s foster care system to attend one of Georgia’s 26 public colleges and universities by providing scholarships to fund tuition balances, campus housing and campus meal plans.
Former foster youth also need assistance with other expenses allowing them to focus on their education. You can help cover expenses for transportation, food, medical, counseling, mentoring and personal necessities by participating in the Fostering Success Act Tax Credit. If you pay taxes in Georgia, this credit allows you to tell the state where your tax dollars are spent while you receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on your state tax return. This is so much better than giving to the state’s general fund and you are helping make dreams come true for deserving young people who will be our workforce and leaders of tomorrow!
